Remastered | Using Console To Change What Npcs Wear | Skyrim edit: you might have to reapply the preset on game restart, but it's still a pretty neat feature imo. it's documented on the racemenu modpage under changelogs v. Then find your npc and open the console, click on them and type: skee preset load yourpreset. it’s extremely lightweight, with only a few single run scripts and zero performance impact. it’s dead simple and completely conflict free. it does exactly what the title says: it allows complete customization of skyrim npc outfits. Simple npc outfit manager (my very first mod release!) addresses all of these problems. third locate the pieces (and their code) that you want to remove and type "removeitem (codehere) 1" it should look something like this removeitem 4d3f5 1 ********important********. this shows you the codes for the armor that they have on. First open console with ~ key second click on npc and type "inv" without quotes. If you have creation kit, and are familiar with it, you open the npcs form, click on the "inventory" tab, and look at the dropdown box for "default outfit." you can select from an existing outfit, or you can go to items > outfits, right click and select "new" and drag drop whatever armor you want into a form, name it, and use it as a custom outfit.
